I know...you think it's already a little to late to write about the new year. But hey, Chinese New Year will only be starting this February 10, so it's not yet too late.
So what do we do now hat the world did not end in 2012 and we are a year older once more? We celebrate :)
Life gives us a lot of things to celebrate for and I think it is a great way to start anything. To bring in the lucky or attract positive outcomes, I think it is best to recognize and celebrate first what has already been given to us. So here's my "things to be grateful for"
My Life- I have another year to celebrate and go for the things I want to do. Travel to another country perhaps?
My Family-I am blessed with a wonderful, fun family. We may not be perfect but at least we are all together.
My Friends-I am blessed with a lot of them. Well maybe not enough to compete with people who have tons of FB friends, but I have TRUE friends that will take more than my fingers to count.
My Job- this may not be the best paying job in the world but it allows me to work with the people I know and care about and allows me to meet people from all walks of life. It helps me understand the world better and provides me an avenue to help people in different ways.
And everything else in between- yes, I am thankful for everything else God allows me to experience and to have. Sometimes, people can be so rude but they still are there to teach lessons in life that we simply cannot learn if we did not come across these kinds of people. A lot of times I felt frustrated but I know that it makes me more patient and that it will make me stronger so I can bear worse times.
So let us be thankful for everything. We are not given something that we don't need. We just have to be more sensitive to the lessons behind each gift. So thank you and farewell 2012 and welcome 2013. Let's make this the best year ever!
